The Asphalt Path

[Living on your own terms]

Adventures

Take the road that gives the journey room to happen.

Do not pass up every chance to take the longer, scenic route. Life is short, and the road saved for “someday” does not become more certain with time. Scenic travel turns the miles between campgrounds into part of the experience: mountain overlooks, old bridges, bypassed main streets, family-run cafes, historic motor courts, fading neon, folk art, and roadside attractions built simply to make travelers stop and smile.
