Dispersed/Dry Camping

Dispersed and dry camping moves responsibility back to the camper. There may be no water spigot, dump station, pedestal, restroom, trash can, shade tree, cell coverage, level pad, or camp host. Equipment choices should be built around failure points: water runs short, food warms up, wind arrives, bugs find camp, a tire sinks, a burn needs care, or the road out gets worse than the road in.
